Here are a few notes regarding Library routines and services during the summer period. Generally speaking, processing times of inquiries might be a bit longer during the summer.
Loan period and opening hours
From 25 May to 28 July, the loan period for books is extended. All standard loan items borrowed during this period will get the due date 19 August, provided there is no reservation on the item, in which case the loan period will be one week as usual.
Library opening hours during summer can be found in the following overview:
Library seasonal opening hours
Please note that Campus Norrköping Library will be closed from 13 July to 2 August, and Medical Library from 6 July to 19 July. Self-service hours are on hiatus at both libraries during the summer.
The library stacks at Valla Library have self-service hours only during the summer. LiU students and staff can access the stacks with their LiU card. Other users can borrow an access card to the stacks at the library enquiry desk on the third floor in Studenthuset.
Looking ahead to this autumn, the lecture series Research just around the corner will be back with a new series of presentations of cutting edge research on the theme democracy and academic freedom. If you want to view previous lectures in the series, recordings are available at the following webpage:
